​​​​​6/10/17 - Ellport Borough Clean-Up Day

The Ellport Borough Clean-Up Day will be held Saturday June 10 from 9:00AM to 12:00PM. Those interested in participating must be a borough resident and purchase a ticket at the Borough Office.

Cost is $5.00 per load. Please pick up a list of prohibited items when purchasing the ticket. Drop off is at the borough garage maintenance building on June 10 only.

The Ellport Community Yard Sale will be held on Saturday June 3 from 8:00AM to 3:00PM.

5/1/17 - PA 10th District Town Hall Meeting
PA 10th District State Representative Aaron Bernstine will be holding a Town Hall Meeting at the Ellport Community Center on Monday May 1 at 6:00PM.

4/10/17 - 2017 Tax Outreach Program
Lawrence County Treasurer Richard L. Rapone is pleased to announce the 2017 Tax Outreach Program. County property taxes will be collected at the discount amount on Monday April 10 from 9:00AM - 12:00PM at the Ellport Borough Building.

3/4/17 - 10th Annual Ellport Community Winter Wonderland 5K

Ellport street signs for sale 
Ellport street signs are available for purchase at the Ellport Borough office on Burns Avenue on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost of the old cast iron signs is $20 and the old metal signs is $10. All are available on a first-come, first-sold basis. Information: 724-752-1422.

Public Notices

Ellport has a voluntary recycling program. Three blue bins, one for paper and cardboard, two for cans, bottles, and plastics, are located next to the salt shed on Booster Way. Please obey the rules posted on the bins.

No dumping is allowed on Borough property. This includes leaves, ashes, compost, etc. Paper bags for the disposal of leaves, brush, and grass are available at the Borough office for $1.00 each. These bags can be left at the Borough Garage for disposal or picked up by a Borough employee.

Ellport has a burning ordinance which allows burning Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00AM - 7:00PM. No burning is permitted Sundays, Mondays, and holidays. Burning is not allowed on any street, alley, or sidewalk and must be at least ten feet away from any structure including fences. No hazardous or objectionable condition can result from the burning and no smoldering after hours is permitted.
